Embedded

We develop embedded apps to deliver the Internet of Things to actual humans.

We have experience developing embedded applications for fuel price signs and highway traffic message signs using Busybox embedded Linux (PC/104 ARM processor), C++, and Qt. We have developed a touch screen application using .NET and Windows embedded to communicate with a central server using SOAP/XML Web Services. Recently, we have been developing applications for the Raspberry Pi for a tele-medicine system.

The Raspberry Pi is an ideal platform for low-cost proof-of-concept prototyping and low-production runs for embedded web servers, home automation, digital signage, telemetry acquisition, and general-purpose I/O. Standard stacks such as Python and SQLite are available for the Raspberry Pi.
